Andrew understands the legislative process behind development projects, translating it into successful communications and consultation strategies for clients.
Andrew blends his professional grounding in planning with an understanding of politics and the use of compelling narratives to communicate complex issues to wide and varied audiences.
One of Andrew’s core strengths is extensive experience and knowledge of nationally significant infrastructure projects. He is instrumental to Copper’s growing transport portfolio, delivering strategies for road schemes across the UK.
He led National Grid’s Hinkley Point C Connection – a 60km linear project in South West England incorporating rural and urban communities and a wide range of environmental issues. The project was one of the first to encounter the NSIP planning regime and he helped overcome the issues and challenges this presented.
Before joining Copper, Andrew worked for a public affairs company which exposed him to a wide range of development projects for clients, such as Sainsbury’s, Goodman and Fairview New Homes. He also had a hand in supporting communications for sports stadiums, country houses and speculative land developments.
