Annabel is a diverse communicator with proven experience in developing integrated marketing, public affairs and stakeholder campaigns for the development and infrastructure sector.
With experience working across infrastructure projects at several leading UK communication consultancies, Annabel is highly skilled in devising and delivering stakeholder engagement, public affairs, PR and marketing campaigns for clients in the regeneration, construction, property and transport sectors.
Annabel is leading on projects within Copper’s transport and property portfolios where she devises strategies to explain complex messages in an engaging way, including the A417 Missing Link road scheme and an estates regeneration project on behalf of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.
She has led on delivering a complex stakeholder and political engagement programme for Associated British Ports (ABP) around the proposals for the M4 relief road, including engaging with key influencers from across the business and political spectrum, media relations activity, political monitoring services and developing marketing collateral. She has also supported the drafting of the Port of Newport master plan, which outlines the strategic direction for Wales’ most important general cargo port for the next 20 years.
Annabel also leads Copper’s own communications activity, including the Independent Survey of Attitudes to Infrastructure in the UK 2017 report which was described by President of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Professor Lord Robert Mair as “a major contribution to our understanding of the public’s aspirations for UK infrastructure.”
