Charlie’s professional experience spans the public and private sector, with a focus on planning, community engagement and corporate communications across infrastructure and development projects.
Charlie has experience working on large scale projects, including on the Thames Tideway Tunnel, a 25km Super Sewer for London, and with London Continental Railways, supporting their press office function on partnership proposals for regeneration sites along the HS2 route. Charlie also worked with Cargiant, the used car dealership, on their long term plans for Old Oak North, the location of the HS2 interchange with Crossrail in west London.
Charlie has a wealth of experience across local, regional and national politics, having worked at a prestigious London based communications agency, starting off as part of an in-house research team where she covered two general elections, the EU Referendum and numerous regional elections.
In 2017, she moved account side, supporting local authorities, government departments and FTSE 100 companies, providing strategic advice and communications support for a variety of projects, including on proposals for a 21,000 capacity arena for Madison Square Gardens and on a new 18-courtroom complex and police headquarters for Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service and the City of London Police.
Charlotte began her career working in the NHS, within a consultancy branch of the North Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, working on the marketing team. She has also worked for the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan whilst living abroad in Tokyo.
In 2011, Charlotte graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Politics and American Studies.
