Christine has been at the sharp end of communications her entire career. With over 30 years’ experience in winning community support for development projects, Christine is able to carefully manage the potential and actual reputational impact of construction work.
With knowledge, experience and intuition that come from being a respected regional media and communications manager at National Grid, Christine’s thorough understanding of complex issues and experience in profiling and anticipating stakeholder reactions, helps her create sensitive, human and honest relationships between clients, projects and stakeholders which can be sustained over decades.
Among these is her long-standing management of National Grid’s liquid natural gas storage facility on the Isle of Grain, in Kent, which has successfully co-existed with an established community for decades and which is currently undergoing £1bn of investment.
Christine currently manages the communications strategy and community relations programme for high profile gas mains work across London.
