Diana has over ten years’ experience developing and supporting internal and external corporate communication campaigns and stakeholder engagement programmes, helping to build and manage the reputation of large organisations.
Prior to joining Copper, Diana worked predominately in the energy sector. Diana started her career at a power station in community engagement and moved on to work for a new build power station developer in communications and stakeholder engagement.
Diana has extensive experience working in-house for high profile projects and organisations including RWE npower, Horizon Nuclear Power (A Hitachi Ltd. Company) and most recently, Bristol Airport. Diana is a creative communications professional and is passionate about ensuring organisations are open about their activities and ‘do the right thing’ in communities in which they operate. Diana holds a degree in Media and Cultural Studies and an Advanced Certificate in Public Relations.
Highlights of Diana’s career include delivering the stakeholder engagement programme which successfully agreed design principles for airspace change at Bristol Airport, and leading the internal and external communications for Horizon Nuclear Power’s headquarters relocation.
At Copper, Diana works on a number of nationally-significant infrastructure projects – including with the Laing O’Rourke and Murphy joint venture in its delivery of enabling works for HS2. Diana’s work involves supporting the LM Community Engagement team in the delivery of HS2’s stakeholder engagement strategy.
