An environmental communications specialist, Dominika brings a unique blend of skills to Copper, from areas of Science and Engineering, Innovation and Neuroscience to Visual Arts.
Dominika will be leading on a number of Copper’s energy projects, combining her academic and communications capabilities to devise and implement robust strategies for clients.
With a PhD degree in Climate and Environmental Sciences from University College Dublin and an MEng from The Silesian University of Technology, Dominika has expertise in wind power, carbon cycling, climate change and sustainability. Her experience in academic and corporate roles includes the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, environmental management, communications and stakeholder engagement as well as research development.
During her academic career, Dominika investigated terrestrial carbon cycling, storage and greenhouse gas emissions from soils. As a post-doctoral fellow, she worked on a development of a multi-partner research under the EU Framework Programme.
Dominika is also a qualified trainer and facilitator and lectured at universities in Ireland and Poland. She has also delivered workshops in effective communications and creativity as well as the training in Environmental Management from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) at the British Safety Council.
Prior to joining Copper, Dominika was working for Ørsted and Centrica Power on offshore wind projects in development and operational phases.
