About
James brings a strong understanding of politics, policy and legislative processes to Copper, having worked with politicians and groups from across the political spectrum.
Experience
Since joining Copper James has been involved in number of complex projects in the transport sector, including roads and rail freight.
James’ political experience has provided him with an in-depth understanding of what makes MPs, councillors and political influencers tick. James has worked in the office of a senior Labour Party MP, with a particular focus on research and drafting briefings, and for Conservative Voice, developing campaigns to maximise the influence of grassroots members across the party. These diverse experiences inform James’ project research, ensuring that clients are presented with as much additional insight as possible.
Having previously worked in the field with international NGOs, James is focused on ensuring his work benefits local communities.
James is currently studying for an MSc in Social Policy and Planning at the LSE, having previously gained a BSc in Social Policy with Government from the same university.
