Suzanne O’Neill Senior Account Executive

After multiple successful years in teaching, Suzanne’s personal headline is that she is a career-changer.  She fulfilled both teaching and managerial roles in hugely diverse environments, spanning a range of comprehensive and grammar schools.

From senior leaders, to staff, students, parents, and the local community, she is well-versed in flexing to different audiences, with competing priorities. Such wide-ranging stakeholders demanded the ability to engage and captivate, whether that was teaching a very able exam class, supporting a smaller student group, or presenting to parents and the senior leadership team.

Suzanne’s passion for clear and credible communications is rooted in a linguistic background; she is a proud Francophile. Her career switch was facilitated by a postgraduate programme in business and management. This means that she sees the bigger picture of the corporate world, and crucially, the role of the communications consultant within it.

Suzanne’s background is underpinned by strong academic credentials: she holds a languages degree from Leeds University, and a Master of Science award, from the esteemed Aston Business School.

In addition to her extensive work history, Suzanne’s skillset has been developed further across two internships. Prior to joining Copper, she was a digital marketing intern for an entrepreneurial SME in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) space. Further b2b experience was gained at a reputable communications agency, across energy, healthcare and grounds maintenance sectors.

At Copper, she supports a range of projects, including National Grid Hinkley Point and Cadent Gas London Mains Replacement.

…the service offered by Copper is utterly, utterly excellent.
