Tom provides high quality professional support to clients in the public and private sectors, delivering consultation and engagement strategies, managing contact centres for projects, supporting the development of consultation materials and facilitating consultation events.

Experience

Tom joined Copper in 2015 and has quickly developed through a broad range of experiences delivering communications and community relations programmes in support of major infrastructure projects.

Tom has provided expert stakeholder support for clients such as The Duchy of Cornwall, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, National Grid, Cadent Gas,  the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Travelodge. He helped Vattenfall deliver a statutory consultation on the Norfolk Boreas Offshore Wind Farm and was also an integral part of Copper’s delivery team supporting National Grid Viking Link to undertake consultation on its electricity interconnector in Lincolnshire.

He is currently the day-to-day project lead contact providing community relations and engagement support on the Triton Knoll Electrical System onshore works.

Tom also specialises in running best practice community relations contact centres for a variety of clients and projects, including Manston Airport in Kent. Tom is skilled in helping to build relationships with communities, engaging them on the complexities of nationally significant infrastructure projects. He works within multi-disciplinary teams, including National Grid and Cadent Gas, offering key strategic guidance to clients.
